Veterinary Technicians:
Bethany:
Bethany has been a vet tech at Circle C Animal Hospital since Feb. 2009, which has been great fun! She was born and raised in El Paso, TX and moved to Austin in Jan. 2009 to continue the trend of new experiences from exploring Central America and getting married last year. After graduating with a Bachelors degree in Animal Science in 2004, she is pursuing vet school. She is especially partial to cattle dogs, which is a good match since she loves the outdoors (fishing, horseback riding, camping, etc.) and stays active with her dog Fern.
Brittany:
Brittany loves helping animals. She enjoys working in all areas of the veterinary field, from surgery to client education. Brittany joined our team in June of 2008. Before that she lived in Las Vegas where she worked at a clinic for 2 years. She plans to continue her education in the animal field. At her family ranch they has many animals including 5 horses, 5 dogs, and even 3 cats. Brittany enjoys reading and horseback riding in her spare time.
Receptionists:
Valerie:
Valerie is originally from Edinburg, TX and moved to Austin in 2005. She is one of the clinic's founding employees, having started here in May of 2007. Valerie has an 8 lb "authentic" Chihuahua (i.e. he emigrated from Mexico as a young puppy).

Brittney:
Brittney has worked at Circle C Animal Hospital since September of 2008. She loves her animals and has accumulated quite the menagerie! Currently, she has Diva, a Rottweiler mix, Pacho, an English Bulldog, 4 Parakeets, 2 Finches, 1 Quaker Parrot, a ton of fish. Even with that full of a house her heart still has room for more--she also helps out several rescue groups by serving as a foster home!
Clinic Residents:
Jack the Cat:
Jack was adopted by the Rafferty Family as a newborn kitten. After being a house cat for a number of years he requested a transfer to the clinic so that he could receive more attention during the day. He loves to visit with clients and their pets or hang out in the back treatment area where he can supervise the technicians and doctors!
**Note: Jack passed away in March 2010 due to complications from a severe respiratory infection. We will miss our handsome boy!!
Mars the Greyhound:
Mars was rescued from a Greyhound racing facility and has "worked" as a blood donor dog for the last several years. He loves hanging out under the front desk and especially likes meeting other Greyhounds that are coming to the clinic. He is a very sweet and loving dog and is proud to have saved many, many lives over the years!
