Practice Manager

Lisa

Practice Owner and Manager

Lisa is co-owner of CCAH and assists in managing the clinic. She and Dr. Rafferty have been married for over 20 years. They have twins, Ellie and Thomas, three cats named Wilma, Stella and Izzie. They have two chihuahuas, Scout and Petey. They also have chickens and songbirds at home.

Liz

Practice Manager and Veterinary Technician

Liz joined the CCAH family as a veterinary technician in 2019 after moving from Carlsbad, New Mexico before working her way up to a Practice Manager position. She has a blended family including four human children, four dogs, Cody, Molly, Hercules & Zoe, and one cat named Hailey. In her free time, she exercises her green thumb growing her own vegetables, fundraising for an Austin-based Pitbull rescue called Bully Ranch and is also a part of the Austin Facial Hair Club.

Veterinary Technicians

Sydney

Lead Veterinary Technician

Sydney has been working at CCAH since 2014 as a student intern. She has her bachelor’s degree in Biology and is applying to be a veterinarian. She is now a veterinary technician and loves surgery. She has two black cats, Whiskey and Willow, and a corgi mix named Winston.


Erin

Veterinary Technician

Erin has been working at CCAH since 2014. She started as a receptionist and is now a technician. Erin is working to become a Physician Assistant to work with humans. She has two doodles named Ellie and Gracie and a calico cat named Lena Mae.


Casey

Veterinary Technician

Casey has been a veterinary technician for over 5 years. She was born in New Jersey before migrating to Portland and then finally landed in Austin in June of 2019 when she joined the CCAH team. With her previous experience at a cat-exclusive veterinary clinic she has quickly become a vital part of our team. Her furry family includes a senior Pomeranian named Goldberg and two cats named Marfa and River. Through her dedication and construction skills she is currently working with her fiance on building their customized tiny home. If you are ever in need of a book recommendation, she is the best go-to bibliophile!


Kim

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Kim is a licensed veterinary technician and has worked all over the country. She has experience with all kinds of animals and loves her job. She has a sweet spot for horses, training and showing jumpers and dressage horses for many past years as well as working in an equine surgery center. She has a Border Collie named Lambeau who competes in agility and dock diving. 


Pauline

Veterinary Technician

Pauline has a Shih-Tzu named Ace. Pauline has a love for horror films, halloween and muscle cars. Pauline has been with the clinic since 2017.

Veterinary Technician

Denise has been working at CCAH since 2018 and has been a vet tech for over 20 years. She has two dachshunds named Wookiee and Frankie Sinatra and a black cat named Moot. She is a wonderful artist and puts her love of art into the making of our paw prints.

Receptionist 

Ashly has been working at CCAH since 2018. She has a Dachshund named Bandit, and a Siberian Husky named Myla Moo. She is an avid equestrian with a love for all pets. She has an Arabian named A.S. Angel Heir who she avidly shows and loves. Ashly works as both receptionist and technician and loves every minute of her job!


Carolyn

Receptionist

Carolyn came to us from Washington, and started at CCAH in March 2020. She has a bird, Shiba Inu named Ruby and a cat named Mochi.

Desiree has two boys, an 18-year-old and 3-year-old, and a beagle/bulldog mix named Piper. She also owns her own cleaning business and loves working with our wonderful clients.

Homer

Homer was adopted from a local shelter in April of 2010 and loves all aspects of being a clinic cat.  He can most often be found lounging across the front receptionist desk where he is sure to be noticed (and lovingly scratched) by all arriving clients!
