Veterinary Technicians:

Stephanie moved to Austin from Panama City, Fl. where she began her career as a veterinary technician and worked at the same clinic for the last seven years. She joined the team at CCAH shortly after arriving in Austin in 2013. She has a wonder-fur family that includes her two wonder dogs, a Chihuahua named Sugarbear and a Rottweiler named Rosie, and a cat named Crookshanks.

Sarah is originally from a small town in Missouri where she began her career in veterinary medicine seven years ago and obtained her certification as a Veterinary Assistant.  She moved to Austin in 2010 where she continued to work in the veterinary field and joined the team at Circle C in 2013.  She thoroughly enjoys offering a caring and compassionate approach to her patients, and the daily experience of the human/animal bond.  In her spare time she enjoys frequenting Austin's live music venues, being outdoors, participating in animal welfare organizations, and horseback activities.  She also enjoys the company of her own pets; a Rottweiler named Mowgli, 2 grey tabbies- Elephant and Althea, and a Cockatiel named Ludwig Van Birdthoven.

Amber has been with the Circle C Animal Hospital since 2014.  She began her veterinary career working at an animal shelter in 2008, progressing to become a Certified Vet Assistant (CVAI) before becoming a Veterinary Technician. Amber is originally from Houston and made the move to Austin in 2013.  Since being here, she’s been taking care of all that Austin has to offer - - from hiking and swimming to checking out the latest brunch spot.  Although she currently doesn’t have any pets at home, she loves playing with her friends’ dogs and is looking for the right (i.e. three-legged, one-eyed) dog to add to her life.

Julio (Photo Pending):

Julio grew up in Killeen, Texas, where he discovered at a very young age that he wanted to pursue a career working with animals.  Julio participated in many animal related activities, such as FFA and 4H, and showed steer, goats, sheep, swine and poultry. After graduating high school, he moved out to Colorado to attend school and acquired his veterinary assistant certification.  Texas drew him back home again, though, and he returned to Killeen. Julio moved down to the Austin area in July 2016, when he joined the Circle C Animal Hospital team.  He shares his home with a Great Dane mix named Indiana Henry Joes; a Boston terrier named Roscoe P. Coltrane; and a Russian blue cat named Smokey Jo.

Desiree had worked in the medical field as a phlebotomist for about six years. But her love for animals brought her to Circle C Animal Hospital in March of 2012. In her free time she enjoys volunteering at Austin Pets Alive and is also currently working toward becoming a registered nurse.  Desiree has three sweet dogs of her own, Cosmo, Zoe and Cady.

Lauren was born and raised in Buda, Texas and then migrated north into Austin about 6 years ago.  In addition to working as a receptionist at Circle C Animal Hospital since March 2014, she has been studying at Austin Community College with plans to complete her Communications degree in Marketing at Texas State University.  Lauren and her boyfriend keep busy in their spare time fixing up a house in Dripping Springs, which they hope to move into with her two dogs, Bernie and Dixie, in late 2015.  Lauren enjoys travelling and camping and plans on filling up her passport with many more stamps in the near future.

Born in Houston, Texas, Erin grew up in North Carolina and then eventually returned to Texas for college.  She graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Biomedical Sciences in May 2012. She got interested in veterinary medicine while at A&M and worked in the summer of 2009 at an equine reproduction center just outside Ocala, Florida.  After graduation, Erin moved to Austin, Texas with her cross-eyed Siamese mix cat, Lena, to help her family run a wedding venue business in Dripping Springs.  She came on board to Circle C Animal Hospital as a receptionist in August 2014.  Outside of work, Erin enjoys music and Netflix binges.

Clinic Residents:

 Homer the Cat:

Homer was adopted from a local shelter in April of 2010 and loves all aspects of being a clinic cat.  He can most often be found lounging across the front receptionist desk where he is sure to be noticed (and lovingly scratched) by all arriving clients!

Winslow the Cat:

Winslow was adopted with Homer and couldn't be more different than his brother!  A bit more wary of strangers, his favorite spot is tucked away in the Doctor's office, where he can supervise the clinic's daily activities from a distance.  Winslow is a very sweet and loving cat--even though he looks like he's in a permanent grumpy mood!
